About This Project

The Electronic Tourist Refund Scheme or eTRS, in short, is introduced by Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) in 2011 to offer tourists an easier way to get their refund on the Goods and Services Tax on their purchases. Nest was appointed by IRAS to create a visual identity for eTRS and design a set of tourist guide in four languages. Based on the idea of a hassle-free claim process, the logotype is simple and clean, with a bold graphic arrow to convey swift refund. It projects an image of reliability and responsibility.
